Every two years, the Erasmus Centre for Innovation (ECI) organizes the International Roundtable in collaboration with RWTH Aachen (TIMEX). This congress took place at the Conference Center of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. The event brought together innovation and R&D managers from 22 top organizations such as Ford, Vodafone, Boskalis, ASM International, Rabobank, AkzoNobel, Boyden Executive Search, ASML, and Stedin.

Strategic program focused on talent and innovation
The central theme of the day was Unlocking Talent for Innovation: Attraction, Retention & Impact. The program consisted of a mix of keynotes, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. After an informal coffee reception, the Director of ECI opened the day with a brief framing. Four inspiring speakers then shared their insights on attracting, retaining, and developing talent in a rapidly changing world.
Throughout the day, participants took part in interactive sessions, such as a roundtable on talent strategy, a case challenge, and a collective workshop where attendees collaboratively developed an Innovation Talent Framework. The day concluded with a networking reception in an informal setting.
Insights translated into action
The result was an inspiring and energizing day where participants not only gained new insights but also received practical tools to address talent-related challenges within their organizations. The combination of theory, practical case studies, and reflection led to valuable exchanges among various companies and sectors. The collaboration between ECI, RWTH Aachen, and VKOZ once again ensured a professional and content-rich event.
