Earlier this year, VKOZ was approached by Anita de Groot, director of De Groot & Visser. For 45 years, this leading company has been an authority in façade construction, with a strong focus on commercial buildings and apartment complexes, including new builds, renovations, and transformations. In September 2024, De Groot & Visser joined the international alliance Weclad, a milestone they wanted to share with their network.

The goal was to invite existing and new relations, including contractors, developers, architects, and suppliers, for an inspiring day full of guided tours, a tailored symposium, and a stylish walking dinner at their own location.

We developed a complete event concept, including the program, routing, and interior design in the company hall. In collaboration with Bon Bon Catering, a fully worked-out plan was ready: a reception with bubbles on a blue carpet, inspiring speakers, a personal tour through the company, and a concluding culinary walking dinner for all guests (The image above formed part of our mood board).

The communication trajectory was also ready. From digital “save the date” to physical invitations, everything was designed and ready for distribution. However, in practice it proved difficult to find a date on which both staff and external relations could attend. Therefore, in consultation, a different approach was chosen: clients were invited to one of the golf events, while a festive jubilee event was organized for the staff, celebrating the 45th anniversary and honoring Anita de Groot.

In this process, we demonstrated our core strength: adaptability. With every change, we reconsidered the concept, planning, and communication. Thanks to a pre-agreed number of hours, we could provide flexible support throughout the year, exactly where and when it was needed. We monitored progress, checked in regularly, and provided well-founded advice with each new direction. This way, we stayed on course together, despite the changes along the way.
