A Global Gathering in Seville
From November 12 to 14, 2025, 920 participants from 75 countries came together at Fibes II, Seville, for the annual Global Forum on International Admission & Guidance, organized by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and VKOZ. The forum provided a platform to share knowledge, gain new insights into international education, and establish valuable connections. Many participants also led sessions themselves, actively contributing to the program.

Program and Experience in Detail
The forum began on Wednesday with early registration and the First Timers Reception, specifically for new participants. The opening session on Thursday kicked off spectacularly with a flamenco show, immediately followed by a keynote on AI in education, setting the tone for the forum’s themes. Afterwards, 39 knowledge sessions and one wellness session took place across seven breakout rooms, interspersed with buffet lunches offering plentiful vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, ensuring all dietary needs were met.
Networking was central during the school fair (Thursday, organized by region) and the university fair (Friday, in two rounds), featuring the large “Speed Dating XXL” between international schools and universities. Thanks to the user-friendly event app, participants could select sessions, view maps, share on social media, and connect with peers, enhancing the networking experience throughout the forum.
Cultural Highlights and Lasting Connections
The combination of content and experience was particularly visible on Thursday evening: all participants were transported by bus to the Reales Alcazares for an exclusive tour, followed by a reception at the luxurious Alfonso XIII Hotel. Friday began with a plenary session, followed by two rounds of breakout sessions and the closing ceremony, which included the presentation of three awards.
Participants shared their expectations for the next forum at a photocall featuring a world map, using green stickers to mark their predictions and red for their dream destination. The destination for the following year was revealed to enthusiastic applause: Prague. In total, the forum uniquely combined knowledge, culture, and networking: three receptions, three fairs, bus transport for all participants, one flamenco dancer, and a quiet room, all carefully organized to ensure an unforgettable experience and lasting connections.
